Catalytic Dehydrogenation of Dimethylamine Borane by Highly Active Thorium and Uranium Metallocene Complexes #chempaperaday 302

It looks like this is the first example of dehydrogenation of amine-boranes by an actinide complex. These simple metallocenes are really active and have turnovers like 400 (comparable to the best catalysts!). With tuning the ligands, I am guessing they will be even better.For the mechanism, they picked U(IV) complex, because it is paramagnetic and it is easier to identify the diamagnetic products.
