Direct Characterization of a Reactive Lattice-Confined Ru2 Nitride by Photocrystallography #chempaperaday 276

Without any hesitation, I can say that this is the coolest thing I have ever seen (ok maybe one of the top 5!). John Berry and co-workers have successfully characterized the very reactive Ru2=N intermediate, but they weren't able to obtain a crystal structure of the complex. Here the authors report the crystal structure of the intermediate that was generated by photocrystallography (read my previous post too).
